We are seeking an experienced Paid Media Growth Director to lead high-impact, full-funnel paid acquisition strategies for fast-growing technology companies. In this role, you will oversee substantial multi-channel advertising investments, developing data-driven strategies that accelerate growth and maximize marketing performance. You will take ownership of media planning, measurement, attribution, and creative experimentation across diverse digital platforms. Working closely with clients and senior stakeholders, you will translate complex data into actionable insights and measurable business outcomes. You will also build and mentor a high-performing paid media team while establishing scalable processes and innovative workflows. Lead comprehensive paid media growth strategies for high-growth technology companies, managing advertising investments exceeding $1 million per month across multiple clients.

Develop and execute full-funnel media plans spanning paid search, social media, video, connected TV (CTV), programmatic advertising, and emerging platforms such as ChatGPT Ads.

Drive channel expansion, investment strategies, budget allocation, forecasting, and scenario planning to maximize performance against business objectives.

Design and oversee robust measurement frameworks, including tracking strategies, geographic holdout experiments, in-platform lift studies, and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) calibration.

Evaluate incrementality and attribution to distinguish genuine business impact from platform-reported performance and optimize investment decisions accordingly.

Lead creative strategy and experimentation roadmaps, transforming audience research, campaign insights, and testing results into compelling creative concepts and actionable briefs.

Build and implement AI-first workflows to streamline account audits, budget pacing, performance reporting, creative development, and campaign optimization, applying human judgment when automated recommendations require adjustment.

Analyze campaign performance and business metrics to identify growth opportunities, improve efficiency, and deliver actionable recommendations.

Present strategic insights, campaign results, and performance updates to senior executives through weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.

Connect paid media performance with broader SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) initiatives to provide a holistic view of growth opportunities.

Support recruitment and lead the development of a high-performing paid media team through coaching, mentoring, training, and the creation of scalable playbooks and best practices.

Establish effective operating processes that improve team performance, strengthen accountability, and support the consistent delivery of successful paid media programs.

Requirements

At least 7 years of experience in paid media, either within an agency or an in-house marketing environment, with a strong track record of delivering measurable growth.

Demonstrated experience managing more than $1 million in monthly advertising spend across multiple clients, campaigns, and digital channels.

Extensive hands-on expertise with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and programmatic advertising platforms such as DV360 or equivalent.

Strong full-funnel media buying capabilities, including budget forecasting, campaign pacing, investment allocation, and performance optimization against business objectives.

Proven experience designing and executing measurement strategies, including incrementality testing, lift studies, and interpreting Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) results.

Deep understanding of attribution models, KPI selection, marketing measurement, and business economics, with the ability to connect campaign performance to broader commercial outcomes.

Demonstrated ability to lead creative strategy and structured testing programs, translating research and performance insights into effective advertising concepts.

Strong adoption of AI technologies, with daily experience using large language models (LLMs) and practical experience building at least one AI-powered workflow for audits, reporting, optimization, or creative processes that delivers measurable time savings.

Exceptional analytical and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in tools such as Looker and Google Sheets, and the ability to communicate complex findings through clear, compelling narratives.

Proven leadership experience managing, developing, and mentoring paid media professionals, with the ability to build high-performing teams and scalable operating frameworks.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including confidence presenting strategic recommendations and performance results to VP-level and C-suite marketing leaders.

Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a results-oriented mindset, combined with the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
