The Senior Business Analyst will serve as a key link between business stakeholders and technical development teams, supporting the evolution of enterprise technology solutions within the Life and Annuities insurance sector. In this role, you will translate complex business needs into clear, sustainable, and consistent technical requirements across the Life insurance portfolio. You will collaborate with clients, business users, and engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle, from initial discovery and requirements gathering to implementation and validation. Leveraging your expertise in insurance products, policy administration, underwriting, and configurable enterprise platforms, you will help deliver effective technology solutions. The position also involves providing subject matter expertise, guiding business analysis activities, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical outcomes. This is an opportunity to contribute to cloud-based insurance transformation initiatives in a collaborative, technology-driven environment.

The Senior Business Analyst will oversee requirements analysis, stakeholder coordination, and solution validation, ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into functional specifications and successfully implemented across enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate combines extensive Life and Annuities insurance knowledge with strong business analysis capabilities, excellent client-facing communication skills, and experience delivering technology solutions within modern enterprise environments.

At least 5 years of professional experience in an individual contributor Business Analyst role, with preference given to candidates who have led client engagements or major project initiatives.

Strong understanding of Life and Annuities insurance products, including Whole Life, Term Life, Disability Income, and Universal Life.

Demonstrated knowledge of policy administration, insurance illustrations, and underwriting processes.

Previous experience supporting insurance technology implementations, particularly Life and Health insurance solutions.

Proven experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.

Experience working with configurable enterprise systems and supporting system integration, configuration, and implementation projects.

Understanding of software testing methodologies, test plan reviews, requirements validation, and quality assurance processes.

Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications and practical technical solutions.

Experience working in cloud-native environments, with familiarity with SaaS-based Life and Annuity solutions and modern cloud infrastructure.

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly in the context of insurance product delivery, policy administration, and digital transformation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and identify effective solutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when interacting with clients, business users, and technical stakeholders.

Strong organizational and project coordination abilities, including the capacity to manage changing requirements and competing priorities.

Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams while taking ownership of assigned deliverables.
