Responsibilities

→Break news about Apple's strategy, leadership, product roadmap, and deals, including partnerships with AI companies and suppliers
→Write in-depth profiles about Apple's most important leaders and the people shaping its ecosystem
→Report on how Apple is positioning for the AI era, from its chips and on-device models to Siri and its relationships with Google, OpenAI, and others
→Immerse yourself in the topic to write with authority and generate story ideas
→Cultivate relationships with trusted sources inside and around Apple, including suppliers, developers, regulators and competitors
→Contribute to editorial products such as org charts
→Work with colleagues out of our three newsrooms

Requirements

At least three years of business or technology reporting experience
A track record of scoop-based reporting in business, technology, finance, or politics
Ability to cultivate sources and develop a beat
Familiarity with major developments in tech, consumer hardware and AI over the last three years
Bachelor's degree
The ability to work out of The Information's San Francisco or New York office
