State 911 Technology Coordinator

• Provide expert technical leadership and advisory services to the NPSC and emergency communication centers on the Nebraska 911 Service System.
• Monitor and maintain network performance across the state, proactively identifying and resolving technical issues to ensure continuous operation of the 911 Service System.
• Ensure statewide compliance with federal and state technical standards, regulations, and best practices, including routine audits and reporting.
• Manage and oversee statewide technical projects, including system upgrades, equipment deployments, and software implementations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
• Provide on-site technical consultation and support to emergency communication centers as required.
• Evaluate and improve backup, redundancy, and contingency plans to minimize system downtime during emergencies or equipment failures.
• Evaluate, support and make recommendations for improving the Cyber Security posture for the 911 Service System and the emergency communication centers.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to improve technical knowledge, network compliance and operational efficiency with the 911 Service System. 
• Advise the State 911 Director and NPSC leadership on procurement strategies, vendor selection, and contract evaluation for technical solutions.
• Other technology duties as assigned.
