Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Mid-Level Maintenance Controllers to support the P-8A Site Activation Support Team starting at Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, Florida and then moving to support the P-8A Poseidon at Canadian Forces Base Greenwood, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Responsibilities

→Organize and control the maintenance and repairs of aircraft, aircraft components and support equipment

→Maintain aircraft maintenance schedules

→Participate in the coordination and monitoring materials, tools, aircraft components and support equipment requisitioning, receipt and allocation

→Document and disposition aircraft, components and support equipment maintenance data

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

→Minimum 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Controller

→Minimum 3 years of experience with commercial derivative or military aircraft maintenance experience

→Minimum 3 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g. blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)

→At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.

→Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

→Currently hold and able to maintain a “Safe for Flight” certification is highly desired

→Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable

→Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country

→Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate.
