Cashier / Customer Service Associate Location: Rexburg, ID Yard Join Our Team We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Cashier / Customer Service Associate who enjoys helping customers and creating a positive shopping experience. In this role, you'll be the face of our business, providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and helping maintain an organized and inviting retail environment. What You'll Do As a Cashier / Customer Service Associate, you will: Welcome customers with a professional and positive attitude. Process customer purchases accurately using a cash register and point-of-sale system. Accept payments and issue receipts, refunds, credits, and change as needed. Package customer purchases and thank customers for their business. Answer customer questions and provide product, pricing, and store information. Direct customers to product pick-up locations when necessary. Open and close cash tills while accurately documenting transactions and balancing receipts. Verify credit card and check payments. Provide prompt and courteous telephone support. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area. Assist with stocking merchandise, pricing products, and maintaining attractive displays. Support inventory management activities, including annual physical inventory counts. Follow all company safety procedures and participate in required safety meetings. Perform additional duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least 6 months of customer service, cashiering, retail, or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Skills & Abilities Strong customer service skills in both face-to-face and phone interactions. Experience operating cash registers and handling transactions accurately. Solid mathematical and cash-handling skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and assist customers professionally. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Work is performed in both indoor retail and outdoor environments and may involve exposure to changing weather and temperatures. Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 80 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Why Join Us?
