As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. • →Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• →Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• →Monitor and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity; verify credentials and maintain accurate logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
• →Communicate observed conditions, incidents, and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
