Cable Bolter 1 or 2 - SWM

Location:

Stillwater Mine - Nye, MT

Schedule:

Rotating - 7X7

Responsible for safe and efficient installation of cable bolts. Ability to work in a team environment. Conduct competent work place inspections. Recognize and correct hazards that exist in the work place. Other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of the company.

• →Operate Underground transportation, tractors and lift gear.
• →Conduct competent pre-op equipment inspections.
• →Operate and maintain grout pumps.
• →Prioritize, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• →Be competent in the use of hand tools.
• →Able to work without direct supervision.
• →Maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• →Any/all other assigned tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

• →Ability to communicate and work well with fellow workers in a team environment.
• →Must meet the Task Matrix Proficiency Levels for a Cable Bolter 1 or 2 (See Task Matrix in HR Office).
• →Understanding of and strong commitment to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Preferred:

• →Previous underground experience.
• →Previous equipment operating experience.
