Postdoctoral ResearcherLaboratory & Life Sciences

The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), part of the College of Science at Nanyang Technological University, was established in 2002 with a mission to advance excellence in biological and biomedical sciences. Our research spans diverse and impactful areas including infectious diseases, immunology, neurodegenerative disorders, telomere biology, and genome function. SBS is home to a vibrant, international community of scientific leaders, researchers, and professionals dedicated to innovation, discovery, and education.

Join the laboratory of Zhu Guanhua at the School of Biological Sciences. We are seeking a Research Fellow to contribute to a project focused on AI-driven biomarker development for human health. We develop computational biology approaches by integrating cutting-edge AI and data science to advance biological research and healthcare. Our research leverages genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, fragmentomics, and chromatinomics to develop non-invasive biomarkers and AI-powered solutions for disease detection, treatment response inference, and precision medicine.

  • Perform bioinformatics analyses of next-generation sequencing and multi-omics datasets.
  • Develop machine-learning and deep-learning models for biomarker discovery and development.
  • Develop computational methods for precision medicine.
  • Interpret analytical results in a biological and clinical context.
  • Contribute to manuscript preparation, grant applications, and the presentation of research findings.
  • Manage and maintain research data, ensuring data quality, organisation, and accessibility.
  • Train and onboard new research staff and students.
