Internship in Manufacturing Science and Technology (12 months)

You will support MSAT process performance with the following tasks.

• Analytical Method Comparability: Determine and validate the repeatability of a DMAc peroxide concentration dilution series using NMR.
• Oxidation Impact Study: Analyze existing study data to design an experimental plan and assist in executing the scale-down model to assess methionine 255 oxidation under Kadcyla manufacturing conditions.
• QC Method Transfer: Apply findings from the oxidation study to define a formal peroxide threshold, and support the transfer to Quality Control.
• Final Handover: Provide comprehensive study plans, final reports, and SOP-compliant documentation covering the entire DMAc peroxide evaluation.
• Support for digitalization initiatives, e.g., the implementation of a PM parameter report. 

• You hold a Master's degree (completed in the last 12 months)  in biochemistry, biotechnology, or chemical engineering; or are currently enrolled in your Master’s programme.
• You speak fluent English and German.
• Strong familiarity with analytical chemistry techniques (including NMR and quantitative assays) as well as protein degradation mechanisms (such as oxidation).
• Please note that due to cantonal regulation reasons, NON-EU/-EFTA nationals need to provide a confirmation by their university stating that an internship is mandatory for their studies.
