Clinical Supervision Trainer and Implementation Lead
Quick Summary
Expertise in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma-Informed Practice (TIP) and Psychosocial Interventions (PSI). Strong facilitation, coaching and reflective practice skills.
What if every frontline practitioner had the time, space and support to reflect, grow and deliver their best work?
We're looking for two passionate and skilled professionals to lead the implementation of reflective clinical supervision across our adult drug and alcohol services. This is a unique opportunity to influence practice at scale, strengthen professional wellbeing, and help create the conditions for exceptional care across Change Grow Live.
As a Clinical Supervision Trainer and Implementation Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in embedding our organisation-wide clinical supervision framework, ensuring frontline colleagues have access to meaningful, protected reflective spaces that support learning, resilience and high-quality practice. This is an opportunity to be part of a transformational national programme that invests in our people so they can continue making a lasting difference for the people who use our services.
Drawing on the principles of Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Practice and Psychosocial Interventions, you'll work alongside teams, leaders and services to create sustainable change that becomes part of everyday practice.
This is far more than a training role.
You'll work directly with services across the organisation, building relationships, understanding local needs and co-creating implementation plans that enable clinical supervision to flourish. From engagement and readiness assessment through to training delivery, reflective practice facilitation, evaluation and handover, you'll help services develop approaches they own and sustain for the long term.
Working collaboratively across the Learning & Organisational Development function, you'll:
- Deliver engaging clinical supervision training programmes both face-to-face and virtually.
- Support and develop clinical supervisors, helping learning translate into confident day-to-day practice.
- Facilitate reflective practice spaces that provide support, challenge and professional growth.
- Partner with leaders and teams to embed supervision in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable locally.
- Build regional learning networks that strengthen capability and create communities of practice.
- Evaluate impact, share learning and contribute to the ongoing evolution of CGL's clinical supervision offer.
- Champion inclusive, trauma-informed and psychologically safe approaches throughout implementation.
