Legal Junior Counsel

We are currently looking for a Legal Junior Counsel – Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) to join our dynamic team in Zagreb, Croatia!

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Counsel to support legal operations across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). This role is ideal for an early-career lawyer looking to build international in-house experience within a dynamic business environment. Working closely with the Senior Counsel, you will provide legal and administrative support across multiple jurisdictions, with a particular focus on Croatia, Poland, and the wider CEE region.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day legal and administrative support for the CEE legal function
• Assist with handling routine and repeatable legal matters across Croatia, Poland, and other CEE countries
• Support contract administration, document management, and legal record keeping
• Prepare, review, and organize legal documentation, templates, and corporate records
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders on legal requests and follow-up activities
• Assist the Senior Counsel in managing ongoing legal projects and workstreams
• Monitor deadlines, maintain legal trackers, and support compliance-related activities 
• Conduct legal research and provide summaries on relevant legal topics when required

Qualifications :

• Law degree from an accredited university
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience gained through an in-house legal internship or traineeship within a limited liability company with foreign ownership, or a manufacturing company environment
• Practical exposure to corporate legal matters and business operations
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with contract management and corporate governance processes
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English language skills
