Help turn AIG's expertise and business priorities into marketing campaigns that promote our brand, engage brokers and clients, and support profitable growth.

The Marketing & Communications team contributes to shaping AIG's corporate reputation, global brand and valuation in the marketplace and strategically positions and supports AIG businesses for continued growth. Our multi-disciplinary team deploys high-quality external and internal campaigns and events that inspire, inform and engage our colleagues, clients, brokers, partners and other stakeholders.

We’re looking for an experienced marketer to play a central role in shaping and delivering AIG’s UK Franchise marketing communications agenda. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications for AIG UK, Global Specialty and Talbot, and supported by one direct report, the role will be responsible for elevating our brand presence by leading and developing integrated marketing campaigns, with a big focus on digital marketing. The role requires a results-oriented strategic thinker with significant experience delivering campaigns, exceptional communication skills, a keen eye for detail and a passion for client-led thinking. This is a role for someone who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, build strong relationships across a complex organisation, and continually find better ways to connect marketing activity with business outcomes.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Lead integrated marketing programmes across paid, owned and partner channels, translating business priorities into compelling campaigns with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Work with marketing, events and corporate communications teams to generate ideas and create distinctive content and thought leadership, connecting AIG’s expertise, propositions and perspectives on market issues with relevant audiences. Own deployment across website and social channels, from content planning and approvals to publishing and performance review.
  • Drive commercial engagement with priority broker and client audiences, turning campaign and event engagement into meaningful business conversations.
  • Develop audience and channel strategies, using CRM, campaign and engagement data to sharpen targeting, personalise content and improve effectiveness.
  • Track and report performance against agreed objectives, using insight to optimise activity and demonstrate marketing’s contribution to business outcomes.
  • Build strong partnerships with senior stakeholders, client and broker engagement teams, product specialists, subject matter experts and UK and international marketing and communications colleagues to align priorities and coordinate delivery.
  • Champion marketing excellence through better campaign planning, digital journeys, processes, governance and ways of working, ensuring consistent messaging and brand standards across channels.
  • A qualification in marketing and/or communications.
  • Significant marketing experience in a large or complex organisation, ideally in insurance, financial services or another B2B environment.
  • Strong digital marketing expertise, including developing and delivering integrated campaigns across multiple channels, using CRM and applying data to inform decisions, track and report performance, and optimise activity.
  • A commercial mindset, connecting marketing activity with business priorities, audience needs and measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and relationship building skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Strong project leadership skills, moving comfortably between strategy and delivery while managing a complex workload autonomously to tight deadlines.
  • Curiosity and a commitment to continuous improvement, exploring new channels, technology and better ways to engage audiences.
  • A collaborative team player with confidence, initiative and strong personal motivation.

You’ll be joining AIG at an exciting time helping deliver on ambitions growth plans, with the opportunity to influence how we connect business strategy, market insight, content, data and distribution. You won’t simply be delivering campaigns - you’ll help shape how marketing creates value for the AIG’s UK Franchise businesses.
