Nurse Practitioner

Alamo City Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our dynamic clinical team. This role is ideal for a provider who thrives in a fast-paced urgent care environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work collaboratively with physicians and support staff while managing a diverse range of acute medical conditions.

 

Our providers work a rotating schedule:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday
• Week 2: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday: Closed

All staff are expected to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled shift to prepare for the day. Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $80.00
• Hours per Pay Period: 69 hours (biweekly)
• Annualized Salary Equivalent: $143,520

• →Provide comprehensive patient care in a high-volume urgent care setting
• →Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries
• →Perform procedures within scope of practice and training
• →Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• →Actively participate in daily team huddles and support clinical staff with workflow and process improvements
• →Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• →Utilize and support AI-assisted EMR documentation tools as appropriate

• Active and unrestricted PA or NP license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of urgent care experience preferred
• National certification:
  • PA: NCCPA
  • NP: AANP or ANCC
• DEA license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• DOT certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred but not required
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
