Position: Anesthesia Tech
Location: Skokie, IL
Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours per week
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm

Responsibilities

→Under direction of supervisor, assist during pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative procedures
→Pre-operative, pre-procedure supply and equipment set-up and room turnover.
→Auditing, stocking and maintenance of anesthesia supply stations, calibration of POC equipment, high-level sterilization procedures and documentation
→Provide basic level equipment troubleshooting
→Order supplies via the Lawson Material Management System

→Education: High School Graduate or Associates Degree
→Certification: N/A
→Experience: High school Diploma with 1 year experience as either an Anesthesia Tech, Patient Care Tech, or Emergency Medical Tech or Associate’s Degree if no clinical experience.
→Unique or Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Ability to occasionally lift (patients and equipment), as well as push and/or pull heavy objects.
