Interns in Statistics must be a United States Citizen and pass an enhance background screening prior to hire.

Under direct supervision intern will process data and analyze fundamental edits on financial or structure data collected from depository institutions, bank holding companies, and non-bank entities used in formulating monetary policy and conducting bank supervision and regulation activities.
Contact reporters to resolve edit failures and explain data anomalies. This role will directly respond to questions from department management, Board staff, and depository institution reporters as needed.
Under direct supervision, participate in special projects related to data analysis, current trends affecting financial institutions or changes in the structure of financial organizations.
Will support senior analysts in related System level work groups as needed.

Requirements

Students must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a Bachelor or Graduate degree program through the duration of the internship.
Minimum cumulative GPA above 3.0 in academically rigorous curriculum.
Must be committed to working a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.

✓This position will require at minimum fingerprinting for a criminal background check, education and employment verification, along with potential additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job.
