Responsibilities

- →Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings
- →Inspect parts for accuracy, defects, and conformance to specifications
- →Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- →Maintain equipment and ensure proper setup for each job
- →Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of grinding machines
- →Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- →Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards)
- →Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Requirements
~1 min read- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous grinding, machining, or metal fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent bending, twisting, and repetitive motion
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise and dust
- Industrial/manufacturing setting
- Exposure to metal dust, noise, and moving machinery
- PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.)
