Psychologist / Psychotherapist – Europe (Italian Fluency)

Maven is looking for a mission-driven, empathetic Psychologist, Psychotherapist, or Counselor based in Europe with fluency in Italian to support our members through virtual care services.

As a Maven provider, you will have the opportunity to meet with adult members across the world, expanding access to high-quality mental healthcare across Europe and beyond. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with a curated provider network spanning 30+ specialties and 350+ subspecialties to deliver holistic, high-value care.

This is a part-time, independent contractor opportunity requiring approximately 5 hours per week.

• →Provide virtual care and support to adult members through 40-minute video consultations and asynchronous messaging in Italian and English, as applicable, around:
  • →Pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause
  • →Anxiety, depression, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, and other mental health concerns
  • →Balancing work, family, and parenting responsibilities
• →Use brief, solution-focused therapy approaches to address immediate concerns and ensure members leave sessions with practical tools and skills.
• →Collaborate with Maven’s Care Advocate team to ensure member needs are met, including recommendations for in-person referrals, follow-ups, and additional support.
• →Serve as an ambassador of Maven’s unique care model by providing culturally humble, inclusive care and championing our belief that better outcomes for women and families mean a better world for everyone.

• An unrestricted professional license or registration as a Psychologist, Psychotherapist, or other appropriately qualified mental health professional in your European country of practice.
• Current authorization to independently provide mental health services in your country of residence.
• Professional fluency in English and Italian, with the ability to provide culturally sensitive care.
• Location within Europe and the ability to provide virtual care across applicable regions.
• The ability to work independently, without supervision from a licensed supervisor, and without current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
• Availability to provide direct member care for approximately 5 hours per week. This is a part-time, independent contractor opportunity.
• Experience providing empathetic, culturally humble care to diverse populations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A passion for women's health, reproductive mental health, and family health.
• 5+ years of experience is required.

  • Provide care via video and private messaging
  • Participate in unique opportunities, e.g. moderating community forums, leading virtual member classes, writing or reviewing educational articles

• Training & events. Optional participation in Maven sponsored lectures, panels, and/or other speaking opportunities as needed
