Scientist I

Join Abbott as a Scientist I within our Technical Services team. This role is ideal for an early-career scientist who is passionate about laboratory work and eager to develop their technical expertise while supporting product testing, experimental activities, and data analysis in a regulated environment.

• →Perform laboratory testing and experiments in accordance with approved protocols and procedures.
• →Support assay execution while adhering to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
• →Operate analytical instruments and laboratory equipment.
• →Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation in line with quality and design control requirements.
• →Work collaboratively with team members to ensure testing activities are completed effectively.
• →Summarise data and contribute to the analysis of results and development of conclusions.
• →Support a safe working environment and participate in additional responsibilities when required.

• Qualification in a scientific or technical discipline.
• Strong interest in laboratory testing and scientific experimentation.
• Comfortable working with data, documentation, and quality records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
