Responsibilities

→Support veterinarians and technicians with treatments, procedures, and patient care
→Perform animal husbandry duties to keep patients comfortable and cared for
→Keep the hospital clean and organized
→Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and teammates in person, by phone, and electronically
→Use veterinary software and basic office programs efficiently
→Stay focused and organized in a busy environment
→Keep learning veterinary services and protocols

Responsibilities may vary based on hospital needs as well as your experience, training, certifications, credentials, and assigned responsibilities.

Previous veterinary hospital experience strongly preferred
DCS or DEC education preferred
A strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
A friendly, outgoing, team-oriented personality
The ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-moving setting
Comfort with veterinary software and basic office programs
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift [Weight] lbs with assistance
Veterinary technician licensure is welcomed but not required
