Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Call homeowner prospects using the company’s approved lead lists and scripts
- →Prioritize the newest qualified listings first, then scheduled callbacks and follow-ups, then older backlog as time allows
- →Determine whether the homeowner is actually planning a move
- →Gather basic information: approximate move timeframe, local or long-distance move, destination if known, approximate home or move size, and whether they have already selected a mover
- →Handle routine questions and objections naturally
- →Respect clear declines and Do Not Call requests immediately
- Offer a warm transfer to the company’s salesperson when a qualified prospect is available
- Complete the internal lead form before the warm transfer so the salesperson has the customer’s information immediately
- If a live transfer is unavailable, schedule or request a virtual or on-site moving estimate
- Submit qualified leads through the approved lead form or website workflow
- Do not enter unqualified cold prospects into the company’s sales system
- Record call attempts, outcomes, talk time, callbacks, qualified leads, appointments, and relevant notes in the approved tracking system
- Send approved follow-up emails using provided templates when appropriate
- Maintain an organized follow-up list
- Provide feedback on lead quality, customer responses, common objections, and effective calling times
- Incorporate coaching and script adjustments as the pilot develops
Because this is a new program, initial performance will be used to establish realistic benchmarks. The pilot will initially track:
- Number of dials, total talk time, and right-party contacts
- Confirmed movers, qualified leads, and warm transfers
- Appointments scheduled and appointment show rate
- Estimates generated, booked jobs, and revenue attributable to the program
Raw dial volume alone will not determine performance. Higher talk time may naturally result in fewer total dials when meaningful customer conversations occur.
- Quoting moving rates
- Estimating move hours or volume
- Negotiating pricing
- Closing sales
- Collecting deposits
- Performing full moving inventories
- Promising availability or arrival times
- Accessing the company’s full SmartMoving CRM
- Hard-selling customers who clearly decline
