As a SAP Analytics Cloud Planning Developer supporting Finance – Global Business Planning & Analysis, you will be trusted to serve as the lead technical builder for Alcon’s Next-Gen Planning solution on SAP Analytics Cloud in Mexico City. You will turn finance requirements into scalable, automated, and well-controlled planning solutions that enable global budgeting, forecasting, quarterly business reviews, and the Strategic Plan. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Translating FP&A business requirements into functional and technical designs and solution documentation, and partnering with implementation partners and SAP to deliver milestones on time and within scope.
• Designing, developing, testing, and supporting SAP Analytics Cloud planning models, dimensions, hierarchies, versions, data actions, multi actions, advanced formulas, allocations, currency translation, planning stories, and analytic applications.
• Supporting budget and forecast cycles in SAP BPC and workforce planning in Workday Adaptive Planning, including model maintenance, cycle readiness, data loads, reconciliations, user issues, and the transition of these processes to SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Building and maintaining integrations between SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Data Cloud, Databricks, and flat files, while supporting transports, access controls, audit requirements, documentation, and change management.
• Serving as a point of contact for planning-system questions, training key users and finance teams, creating user guides and support materials, and exploring predictive planning, AI features, and automation opportunities.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in SAP planning or analytics, including at least 4 years of hands-on SAP Analytics Cloud planning development.
• At least one full-cycle SAP Analytics Cloud planning implementation, from design through go-live, with experience building planning models, data actions, multi actions, advanced formulas, and planning stories.
• Solid understanding of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, allocations, and foreign exchange translation, and experience working with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and develop practical solutions.
• Experience with SAP data integration, security roles, access controls, audit requirements, testing, and production support.
• Fluent English and a balance of technical knowledge, business acumen, problem solving, collaboration, ownership, communication, openness to feedback, and willingness to speak up.
  

• Take ownership of SAP Analytics Cloud planning solutions from design and implementation through go-live and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, SAP, and implementation partners across regions and time zones.
• Identify opportunities to automate and simplify planning while supporting user adoption and continuous improvement.
