- The client is a Dubai-based real estate and hospitality developer building technology-led, longevity-focused living environments.
- It is developing an Agentic AI ecosystem that connects homes, commercial spaces and wellness experiences through intelligent, ambient technology.
- Its teams blend design, engineering and AI to deliver minimalist, human-centred experiences across physical and digital touchpoints.
- It is growing its in-house product organisation in Dubai to shape the next generation of smart-living experiences.
We are seeking a visionary Product Designer to define the visual and interactive language of the client’s Agentic ecosystem. You will not just be designing screens; you will be designing experiences that live in the physical world.
Your mission is to weave together a seamless multi-modal interface where Chat, Voice and Video Avatars coexist harmoniously. You will design for a diverse array of hardware, from high-fidelity tablets and smart mirrors to low-power ePaper displays, wearables and watches.
We need a designer who can balance “High-Tech” (Agentic AI) with “High-Touch” (minimalist, functional aesthetics), creating a system that is both deeply intelligent and elegantly passive.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Design the interaction flow between Voice, Chat and Video Avatars, ensuring a consistent “personality” across all modalities.
- Develop UX patterns for Agentic Systems: how a user interrupts an AI, and how the AI signals it is “thinking” or “acting”.
- Create intuitive interfaces for complex data, simplifying deep AI insights into actionable, easy-to-understand visual cues.
- Design for Passive Interaction: create “glanceable” interfaces for ePaper displays, smart mirrors and wearables that provide information without being intrusive.
- Develop “Context-Aware” UI: design interfaces that adapt to the device (e.g. a high-detail dashboard on a tablet vs. a simplified status icon on a watch).
- Explore Haptic and Wearable UX: design how users interact with the client’s technology on their bodies (watches, wearables) in a way that feels natural and non-distracting.
- Build simple, effective and adaptive dashboards that allow users to monitor their smart home or commercial space at a glance.
- Design “Progressive Disclosure” systems: keep the primary interface clean and minimalist, while allowing power users to dive deeper into data and logs.
- Work with the Data Analyst team to turn complex telemetry into beautiful, meaningful visualizations.
- Maintain a Modern Minimalist design language: clean lines, purposeful typography and a sophisticated colour palette.
- Ensure the brand aesthetic is consistent across every touchpoint, from a physical wall switch to a digital avatar.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure that high-fidelity designs are technically feasible and performant on low-power hardware (e.g. ePaper).
Requirements
~1 min read- Design Tools: Figma (Expert), Adobe Creative Suite, Prototyping tools (ProtoPie, Framer)
- UX Principles: Multi-Modal Interaction, Voice UI (VUI), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)
- Visual Design: Modern Minimalism, Typography, Motion Design, Iconography
- Hardware Awareness: Experience designing for Wearables, ePaper, Smart Mirrors and IoT devices
- AI Literacy: Understanding of Agentic Workflows, LLM interactions and Avatar animation
- Prototyping: Ability to create high-fidelity interactive prototypes that simulate voice/video flows
- Ambient Computing: A portfolio showing work on “invisible” technology or devices that live in the background of a user’s life.
- Voice/Avatar Experience: Proven work in designing for voice-first interfaces or digital human/avatar interactions.
- Hardware Product Design: Experience working with physical products and understanding the constraints of different screen technologies (OLED vs. ePaper).
- Systems Thinking: Ability to design a unified design system that scales across 10+ different device types.
You will be the architect of how humans “feel” the client’s technology. You will not just be making buttons; you will be designing how a person interacts with an autonomous concierge, how they see their home’s health on a mirror, and how they receive a subtle notification on their wrist. You will have the creative freedom to define the aesthetic of the next generation of ambient intelligence.
- Portfolio Focus: We want to see “Multi-Modal” work. Show us how you handled a complex task using both voice and visual cues simultaneously.
- Minimalism is Key: We value “less but better”. Show us how you took a complex data set and turned it into a single, beautiful, functional dashboard.
- Hardware Constraints: Be prepared to discuss how you would adapt a high-end UI for an ePaper display or a small wearable screen.
