Prep Academy Tutors of Greater Columbus is looking for exceptional Reading Specialists who believe that the right instruction, delivered in the right environment, can make a lasting difference in a student's academic journey.
We are seeking experienced, certified teachers and highly qualified educators with a specialization in literacy and reading instruction to provide personalized, one-on-one Reading Specialist tutoring to elementary and middle school students in grades K–8 throughout the Columbus area. Our tutors work directly with students in their homes, creating focused learning environments where students can strengthen foundational literacy skills, address reading challenges, develop effective reading strategies, and build confidence as independent readers.
This role is especially well suited for current or former classroom teachers, Reading Specialists, and literacy interventionists who enjoy the individualized nature of tutoring and want the opportunity to work closely with students outside of a traditional classroom setting.
Prep Academy Tutors provides premium, individualized tutoring designed around the unique needs of each student and family. Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, we meet students where they are and develop instruction around their academic goals, learning style, strengths, and areas for growth.
Our Columbus team is committed to delivering high-quality, relationship-based educational support in the comfort and convenience of students' homes. Tutors may be matched with families based on their location, Reading Specialist expertise, grade-level experience, and availability.
