French & Arabic Teacher – U.S. Embassy | Part-Time

Teach French, Modern Standard Arabic, and Lebanese Arabic to adult learners.

Conduct individual and small-group classes of up to four students.

Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials.

Adapt teaching methods to different proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced.

Monitor student progress and maintain attendance records.

Provide regular student progress reports.

Minimum 2 years of full-time or 4 years of part-time language teaching experience.

Proficiency in both French and Arabic, including Lebanese Arabic.

Experience teaching adults or non-native speakers preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to deliver engaging, structured language lessons.

Ability to commute to the U.S. Embassy in Awkar for in-person instruction.

Monday through Friday, within the 8:00 AM–6:00 PM scheduling window.

Each teaching session lasts approximately one hour.

Weekly teaching hours depend on student demand and are not guaranteed.
