Senior Analyst, Costing and Margin Excellence

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

The Costing Excellence & Margin Management function at VF provides strategic costing analysis and fact-based negotiation insight that supports COGS guidance, product value and margin expansion. As a Senior Analyst, Costing Strategy & Insights, you will provide fact-based costing analysis and negotiation insights that support COGS guidance, product value and margin expansion. Working closely with Sourcing, Product Development, Merchandising, Materials, Finance, and vendor partners, you will analyze cost drivers, identify and sacle savings opportunities, develop negotiation strategies, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations that improve product cost competitiveness and business performance.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Include but not limited to

• Build negotiation fact packs and cost-driver analyses for assigned brands or categories.

• Validate savings and margin opportunities using agreed methodologies and evidence.

• Analyze labor, overhead, material, commodity and supplier cost movements.

• Support multi-season COGS guidance, product cost standards and CostIQ execution.

• Conduct LOH framework gap analyses and milestone savings reviews.

• Maintain analytical models, benchmarks, assumptions and documentation.

• Translate findings into concise recommendations for costing and sourcing partners.

• Support ad hoc business cases and continuous improvement initiatives.
