Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. ## Responsibilities and Tasks * Drive fab engagement and opportunity discovery Build strong engagement with fab manufacturing, engineering, and operational teams to understand challenges, priorities, and improvement opportunities. Proactively identify problems where Data Science, AI, Generative AI, agentic AI, analytics, or automation can create measurable manufacturing value. * Translate fab challenges into DS/AI opportunities Translate manufacturing pain points and domain knowledge into clear problem statements, business requirements, data requirements, and DS/AI use cases. Provide fab domain context to help Data Scientists and Data Engineers understand manufacturing processes, constraints, dependencies, and operational considerations. * Drive innovation ideas, prototypes, and POCs Work with fab users and DS teams to rapidly explore innovative ideas and validate feasibility through prototypes and Proofs of Concept (POCs). Apply an experimentation mindset to test hypotheses, validate business value, and determine whether solutions should be scaled into production. * Partner with Data Scientists Collaborate closely with Data Scientists throughout problem definition, data exploration, modeling, solution development, validation, and deployment. Help technical teams interpret fab data, manufacturing behaviors, operational constraints, and engineering requirements. * Drive fab adoption and value realization Engage directly with engineers and operational users to validate solutions and incorporate feedback. Define success criteria and KPIs and ensure deployed solutions generate sustainable manufacturing impact. * Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing performance Proactively identify opportunities to improve areas such as productivity, cycle time, yield, quality, equipment efficiency, engineering efficiency, and operational decision-making through AI, automation, analytics, and workflow optimization. * Enable innovation across OMT Promote reuse of successful solutions, methodologies, and learnings across fabs and manufacturing teams. Share best practices and collaborate with global teams to accelerate innovation and minimize duplicated development.
