Join our Care Support Worker Casual Pool and make a meaningful difference in the lives of older people across the Barossa region. In this rewarding community-based role, you will support clients to remain independent, safe, and connected within their own homes and communities through the delivery of person-centred care and practical support services.

Working as part of a dedicated and supportive multidisciplinary team, you'll enjoy the flexibility of casual employment, a variety of work experiences, and the opportunity to build genuine relationships with clients and their families. No two days are the same as you provide essential support that enhances wellbeing, promotes independence, and improves quality of life for older people living in the community.

Travelling throughout the local region, you will work independently in clients' homes while receiving ongoing support from a team committed to delivering high-quality, respectful, and responsive care. WHERE AND HOW YOU WILL WORK

Based in Gawler and supporting clients across the local community, you will deliver in-home aged care services through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). Gawler offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern living, set in scenic countryside just 45 minutes from Adelaide - a great place to live, work and be part of a welcoming community. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Are you compassionate and enjoy working with vulnerable people?
Do you have experience in aged care, community care, disability support, personal care, or a similar customer-focused environment.
Are you a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills who can build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
Are you self-motivated and can work independently in the community, demonstrate sound judgement, and provide safe, respectful, and person-centred support.
