~1 min read

We are recruiting junior Change Managers to support a large-scale transformation across Standard Life and Phoenix Group.

The Change Managers will support assigned projects and workstreams by coordinating activities, gathering information and enabling effective change delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support assigned change activities in line with the agreed change framework and governance standards.
  • Gather information and assess impacts across customers, colleagues, processes, systems and controls.
  • Contribute to stakeholder engagement, communications, training, testing and business readiness plans.
  • Coordinate agreed readiness, implementation, transition and post-implementation activities, including tracking actions and gathering feedback.
  • Help impacted teams understand and adopt new processes, systems and ways of working.
  • Build effective working relationships with programme and operational teams, Subject Matter Experts and third-party partners.
  • Maintain assigned change risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, and escalate concerns to the Change Lead through the appropriate channels.
  • Work collaboratively with other Change Managers to share insight and apply a consistent approach across workstreams.
  • At least one to two years’ previous experience working in a change environment, supporting change activity within a project, programme or operational setting.
  • A sound understanding of change management principles, tools and techniques, gained through practical experience, training or a relevant qualification.
  • Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to work with colleagues at different levels.
  • Ability to gather information, identify impacts across people, processes, technology and customers, and contribute to practical change actions.
  • Good planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage assigned activities and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, seek guidance where needed and take ownership of allocated deliverables.
  • A proactive, delivery-focused approach and willingness to learn and develop.

  • Experience supporting a large-scale system, administration or operational change programme.

  • Financial services, pensions or insurance experience.

  • Experience supporting testing, implementation, cutover, hypercare or operational transition activities.

  • Experience working with third-party suppliers or outsourced service providers.

  • AI-related training or certification.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If your experience looks different from what we’ve advertised and you believe that you can bring value to the role, we’d love to hear from you.

If you require any adjustments to the recruitment process, please let us know so we can help you to be at your best.

We’re reviewing applications as they come in, so apply early to avoid missing out.
