We’re Standard Life, a retirement specialist focused entirely on retirement savings and income. We champion the belief that everyone’s journey to and through retirement can be better, and for more than 200 years, we’ve been helping our customers plan and prepare for their financial futures.

Life today is increasingly complicated, uncertain and unpredictable. People move through different careers, face unexpected moments and navigate important choices. We offer our colleagues flexibility, trust and benefits that work for whatever life brings. In return we expect curiosity, connection, accountability and high standards. We make room for what matters - so you can bring your best, every day.

We are seeking a Senior Performance Reporting Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading the implementation, configuration and embedding of FactSet across our investment, performance, risk and reporting processes, ensuring the platform is delivered in a controlled, practical and business-focused way.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on FactSet experience and a strong understanding of institutional investment workflows. They will be comfortable working across platform configuration, data integration, reporting, analytics, user onboarding, issue resolution and ongoing enhancement activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation, configuration and ongoing development of FactSet modules, data feeds, reporting and analytics, aligned to investment, risk and performance requirements.
  • Manage integrations and data reconciliation between FactSet, internal systems, third-party data sources and external fund managers, maintaining appropriate data governance standards.
  • Act as the internal FactSet subject matter expert, providing ongoing support, onboarding and training across investment, performance and compliance teams.
  • Translate business requirements into FactSet configurations, custom templates, reports and bespoke solutions that support portfolio management and risk workflows.
  • Manage the relationship with FactSet, including issue escalation, product roadmap discussions, new releases and opportunities to enhance or automate existing processes.
  • Develop and manage delivery plans, allocate tasks in line with resource availability, and provide appropriate status updates and MI on progress.
  • Contribute to the wider investment technology strategy, including identifying process improvements and evaluating complementary tools and vendor relationships.

  • Demonstrable experience implementing or administering FactSet in an institutional investment or insurance environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of FactSet modules relevant to the buy-side: SPAR, Portfolio Analytics, Fixed Income Analytics, Performance Attribution, and Reporting.

  • Demonstrated understanding of investment performance reporting requirements in an institutional investment manager or insurer.

  • Experience managing data integrations and working with structured financial data across multiple asset classes (fixed income, equity, multi-asset funds).

  • Proven ability to engage with investment professionals and translate business needs into platform configuration and workflow solutions.

  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing concurrent workstreams and stakeholder expectations.

We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels accepted and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If your experience looks different from what we’ve advertised and you believe that you can bring value to the role, we’d love to hear from you.

If you require any adjustments to the recruitment process, please let us know so we can help you to be at your best.

We’re reviewing applications as they come in, so apply early to avoid missing out.
