7 Leaves Cafe - Back of the House Drink Cook (La Mirada)

Founded in 2011 by a group of friends, we've blossomed into a thriving chain with over 40 locations across the Southwestern United States.

In this role, the Drink Cook is responsible for the creation, quality, proper storing and packaging of our coffee and tea products. The Drink Cook is the core of our business, producing all of our signature beverages by brewing all our signature tea and coffee bases. This role will work closely with store management and the back of house kitchen to ensure the proper production

• →Develop a familiarity with all 7 Leaves recipes, preparation times, and measurements to produce our coffee and teas for our stores
• →A strict adherence to food safety protocols– company and state guidelines– to ensure the safety and quality of our products
• →Regularly inventory and ordering to ensure adequate supply of ingredients and products are prepared according to company specifications and needs
• →Maintain a calm and professional composure during regular, high volume, or additionally orders requested by their supervisor
• →Adeptly communicate and collaborate with upper management and other team members to circumvent any foreseeable or sudden issues that may arise such as damages, faulty products, etc
• →Report to work at the prescribed time for each scheduled shift and fulfill the job requirements for the duration of the shift or until relieved of all duties by a direct supervisor.
• →Regularly lifting at least 50 lbs throughout the shift and/or assisting others in group lifts

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with technology/computer systems (i.e. Excel, attendance system, ordering system, etc.)
• Have excellent communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to manager bakery operations independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and walking
• Eagerness to learn and build on constructive feedback

• This position involves a unique opportunity for professional growth and development, as successful candidates will be required to undergo a comprehensive training program located out of state. The training program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in your managerial role within our organization.

• The selected candidate will be required to attend an intensive training program located out of state for 8-10 weeks. The training will cover essential aspects of our industry, company culture, and managerial best practices. All expenses related to travel, accommodation, and training will be covered by the company.
