Security Officer – 2nd Shift

Sibanye-Stillwater is hiring a Security Officer to join our 2nd Shift team at our Fairless Hills facility.

If you’re reliable, observant, safety-focused, and looking for a security position where you can stay active instead of sitting behind a desk all shift, we want to hear from you.

This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday position with a consistent 2:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule—no rotating shifts.

Our Security Officers play an active role in helping maintain a safe and secure workplace. Throughout your shift, you’ll:

• →Control facility access and verify employees, contractors, and visitors.
• →Patrol the facility and complete routine security checks.
• →Monitor cameras, alarms, and surveillance systems.
• →Screen individuals and packages using security equipment.
• →Operate metal detectors, handheld scanners, and X-ray equipment.
• →Assist with visitor check-in and escorts.
• →Respond to alarms and security-related incidents.
• →Communicate with team members by radio and telephone.
• →Complete incident reports and required security documentation.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, alert, professional, and comfortable interacting with people in an active industrial environment.

You’ll need:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior security experience is a plus.
• Military or law enforcement experience is preferred.
