QS - Quantity Surveyor for Scaffolding Department

ABIS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) for our Scaffolding Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling costs related to scaffolding projects, preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and budget reports. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure cost efficiency and adherence to project budgets. This role requires expertise in scaffolding materials, labor, and equipment costs, as well as strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise with contractors and suppliers.

• →Prepare and verify quantity take-offs for scaffolding materials and labor.
• →Develop cost estimates and budgets for scaffolding projects.
• →Monitor and control project costs, identifying and reporting variances.
• →Review subcontractor quotations and contracts related to scaffolding works.
• →Collaborate with project teams to ensure cost effectiveness and value engineering.
• →Maintain accurate records and prepare regular cost reports.
• →Assist in procurement activities and contract negotiations.
• →Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

• →Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• →Minimum 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in scaffolding or construction projects.
• →Strong knowledge of scaffolding materials, methods, and industry standards.
• →Proficiency with quantity surveying and cost estimation software.
• →Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• →Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
• →Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards is a plus.
