Consulting Delivery Associate Manager - Life, Pensions & Investments

Within Accenture, the UK Insurance Strategy & Consulting team focuses on scoping and shaping large transformational engagements for leading providers across the market. We help our Life, Pensions & Investments clients drive innovation through our deep Industry experience, extensive capabilities, proven assets & market insights both in the UK and globally.

With a strong and extensive client portfolio across Life, Wealth, Pensions, and Investment clients we support the full breadth of business change from defining market participation strategies and designing retail advice and distribution models, through to shaping and delivering digital customer journeys. Our work involves complex platform and technology transformations, including large‑scale re‑platforming programmes, optimising operating models and sourcing arrangements, and supporting clients through major M&A activity - covering deal strategy and diligence, as well as post‑deal target operating model design and integration delivery.

• Invent & provide solutions to real world problems across our Insurance clients, leveraging the latest technologies such as Gen AI
• Build deep client relationships and bring together the wider Accenture capability – including Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Song, Operations – to create differentiated offerings and enable the best solutions to our clients.
• Deliver tangible, transformational change for clients and develop points of view and results that lead the market sector.

• Lead workstreams and client engagements to solve complex business challenges across the Life, Pensions & Investments sector.
• Develop industry solutions, propositions and points of view that help clients address strategic, operational and technology-led change
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders through growing industry expertise and market insight
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across Accenture to deliver high-quality outcomes and measurable client value
• Support the identification, shaping and development of new client opportunities and account growth
• Coach and mentor junior practitioners, contributing to capability growth and a strong team culture

• Experience delivering business and technology change within the Life, Pensions & Investments sector, gained through industry or consulting roles
• Proven ability to lead workstreams, manage deliverables and drive successful client outcomes
• Strong knowledge of one or more LP&I domains, including pensions, investments, wealth, protection, life insurance or annuities
• Experience analysing complex business problems and developing practical, client-focused solutions
• Ability to build effective stakeholder relationships and communicate confidently across business and technology audiences
• Strong presentation, problem-solving and structured-thinking skills, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments
• Understanding of how digital, data and technology capabilities can be applied to transform client outcomes
• Experience coaching junior team members and contributing to high-performing teams

• Passion and enthusiasm for innovating in the financial services industry
• Being comfortable interacting with senior client stakeholders (e.g. C-Suite, or C – 1 level)
• Track record in industry or consultancy of shaping & delivering complex change
• Distinctive industry point of view and compelling articulation
• Perspective on the Financial Services Technology Landscape (e.g. FinTechs, Solution Providers, Cloud Services)
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in ambiguous problem-solving environments
