Strategy Analyst

Join Accenture CEO Advisory’s Commodity Markets practice as a Strategy Analyst and help senior leaders address complex questions involving enterprise direction, portfolio choices, investment priorities, market opportunity, and operating model readiness. You will work with multidisciplinary and cross-border teams to develop practical, evidence-based recommendations that can withstand execution realities.

The role offers exposure to assignments across Southeast Asia and the broader global practice, with opportunities to build expertise in energy, commodities, trading, industrial markets, analytics, and AI-enabled strategy consulting.

• →Contribute to client workstreams by structuring business questions, testing hypotheses, and identifying value-creation opportunities under the guidance of experienced team members.
• →Conduct market, competitor, regulatory, operational, and financial research, and translate findings into clear strategic insights.
• →Develop quantitative and qualitative analyses, including market assessments, business cases, valuation support, scenario analysis, and commercial or portfolio evaluations.
• →Support interviews and workshops, synthesize stakeholder input, and prepare concise presentations and recommendations for senior audiences.
• →Work across corporate and portfolio strategy, energy transition positioning, market liberalisation, trading and risk capability, operating model design, commercial optimisation, and investment analysis.
• →Collaborate with teams in Singapore, Southeast Asia, and the global Commodity Markets practice to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.
• →Use GenAI, analytics, and digital tools responsibly to accelerate research and analysis, while remaining accountable for accuracy, quality, confidentiality, and professional judgement.
• →Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, reusable assets, and knowledge-building activities across Commodity Markets and CEO Advisory.

• Currently in the final year of an undergraduate or master’s degree, or have up to two years of full-time work experience after graduation.
• Demonstrated critical, creative, and strategic thinking, with evidence of solving complex problems in a structured way through academic, internship, or professional work.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with an interest in business, technology, markets, and strategy.
• Effective relationship-building and teamwork skills, with the confidence to contribute to interviews, workshops, and presentations.
• Intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
• Exposure to statistics, data analytics, visualiation, or programming. Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, R, Python, Julia, SQL, or comparable tools is beneficial.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English, required to prepare client deliverables and collaborate with regional and global stakeholders.

• Exposure to commodity markets, trading, risk management, energy, investment analysis, or asset valuation.
• Experience combining AI-enabled approaches with quantitative modelling, research, or insight generation.
• International study, internship, or work experience.
• Familiarity with financial modelling, market forecasting, commercial assessment, or strategic business analysis.

• Opportunity to travel across Southeast Asia and, where global staffing requires, to other locations.
• Flexible working arrangements, with client-site presence when required by the engagement.
