KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct targeted market, industry and competitor research for business development, client and internal projects.
  • Support Business Leads in compiling accurate and relevant research for RFP responses, proposals and presentations.

  • Prepare competitor analysis and benchmarking reports that inform strategy development and decision-making.
  • Provide basic data analysis to support client work, internal planning and business-development activity.
  • Maintain an organised database of trusted research sources, industry reports and reference materials, keeping information current and accessible.
  • Produce concise research summaries, reports and presentation materials tailored to the needs of internal stakeholders.
  • Verify sources and review data carefully to maintain accuracy, relevance and consistency across research outputs.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Business Development & Strategy team, respond constructively to feedback and connect research findings to wider business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Business, Economics, Marketing, Social Sciences or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in research, insights, market intelligence or a related analytical role, ideally supporting business development, strategy or client projects.

  • Experience preparing competitor analysis, benchmarking reports, research summaries or similar insight-led outputs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or similar data-analysis tools would be advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to different stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to source verification, data accuracy and document quality.
  • Effective organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A curious, proactive and self-directed approach, combined with the ability to collaborate effectively and respond positively to feedback.
