Responsibilities

- →Coordinate emergency response operations and serve as incident commander until relieved.
- →Support executive protection activities, board meetings, and high-profile events.
- →Conduct investigations and coordinate with HR, Legal, and law enforcement.
- →Maintain post orders, SOPs, and emergency action procedures.
- →Manage protective services budgets, invoices, and vendor performance metrics.
- →Support business continuity, crisis management, and resilience exercises.
- →Develop training programs and ensure annual compliance requirements are met.
- →Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents outside normal business hours.
The Manager, Protective Services is authorized to direct security operations, implement emergency protective actions, coordinate with first responders, and make immediate operational decisions necessary to protect life, property, and business operations in accordance with ACS policies.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Five or more years of experience in corporate security, law enforcement or emergency management.
- Minimum three years of leadership experience.
- Experience managing contract guard forces and security vendors.
- Experience with access control, visitor management, and security technologies.
- Strong understanding of incident command and emergency management principles.
Nice to Have

This role is based in our Washington, DC office. A reasonable rate of compensation for this position is between $90,000 – $110,000 per year. ACS employees work a hybrid schedule, consisting of working onsite two days per work week, as decided by functional area. The balance of the week is open to working remotely, though employees are always welcome onsite each day if they choose.
