Senior Systems Engineer

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex ICT infrastructure across our projects. You will apply your strong IT, networking, and infrastructure expertise to deliver high-quality solutions while driving continuous improvement and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

• →Leading the end-to-end design, configuration, administration, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure, including sizing hardware requirements and deploying solutions from bare metal at customer premises.
• →Designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure, Site2Site VPNs, VLANs, routing, enterprise firewalls and network segmentation.
• →Troubleshooting complex connectivity issues.
• →Monitoring network availability, security, and performance
• →Designing, operating, and maintaining virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox).
• →Managing storage solutions (DELL Unity, Unisphere, OpenNAS, Openmedia vault)
• →Designing  and maintaining backup and recovery solutions (e.g. Veeam, Acronis, Commvault)
• →Producing and maintaining technical documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, network topology diagrams, configurations, procedures, and operational guides.

• Approx. 5-7 years of professional experience in Systems/Infrastructure Engineering, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN), security protocols, cloud technologies, virtualization, and IT infrastructure.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the capacity to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Greek.
• Certifications such as CCNA, or relevant technical certifications are an advantage.

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Technical team supervision and IT service management experience.
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes or similar containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Experience with Fortinet and infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g. Zabbix, PRTG).
• Experience designing and implementing IT operational processes.
