Summary: Ref #: S-DEN-9160682 Profession: Dentist Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Prairie du Chien, WI Start Date: ASAP Duration: 8/17/26 - 2/20/27 Schedule: 3 days/ week; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Rate: TBD Requirements: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Current license to practice dentistry in the State of Wisconsin. Knowledge of general dentistry practices, infection control, and dental radiography. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills. Responsibilities: Perform dental examinations, diagnostics, and treatments including restorations, extractions, and cleanings. Diagnose oral conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans. Provide emergency and routine dental care following WIDOC policies and infection control standards. Maintain accurate dental records and documentation in compliance with departmental procedures. Collaborate with medical and mental health staff to ensure coordinated inmate healthcare.
