JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD-125522 Profession: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Booneville, Mississippi Coverage Period: May 01, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: 24-hour coverage Reason for Coverage: Coverage Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered CALL COVERAGE Call Required: No PATIENT INFORMATON Average Dally Volume: Approximatley 38 per day Case Mix: Medum acuity, consitent with emergency mediciine procedures FACILITY INFORMATON No. of Beds in Departent: 10 ED beds Trauma Level: Level IV EMR Syste: Epc with Dragon dictation PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospial Privegies Rquired: Yes JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM, or in EM, IM, FM) Licenses: Active MS state license, active DEA with MS address DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS (if required by MS) Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS (if not ABEM) Experience: Residency trained in EM, IM, or FM; moonlighting approval accepted Other Qualifications: Case logs required for past 2 years DUTIES & RESPOSIBILITIIES Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED. Manage patient volume of approximately 14,000 annual visits with medium acuity. Utilize Epic EMR with Dragon dictation for documentation. Colaborate with support staff and specalists as needed. Maintain board cerification and required cerifications.
