What We Offer
~1 min read- Responsible for leading the strategy, governance, and amplification of systemwide storytelling across AdventHealth. This role ensures enterprise alignment, accountability, and effectiveness of storytelling across channels, platforms, and key organizational forums, including signature meetings. The Manager of Storytelling Strategy and Amplification partners closely with Corporate Communications, Marketing, Digital, and market teams to shape narrative priorities, steward editorial frameworks, and optimize the omnichannel reach and impact of stories that advance AdventHealth’s mission, brand promise, and strategic priorities.
- Supports the strategic vision and systemwide storytelling goals of AdventHealth by developing, implementing, and governing enterprise storytelling strategies aligned with organizational mission and values.
- Serves as a central steward for narrative alignment, ensuring stories across the system reflect organizational priorities, voice and values.
- Leads the development and maintenance of systemwide storytelling frameworks, editorial guidance, and governance processes that enable consistent, high-quality storytelling across all channels and venues, including digital platforms like AdventHealth's Newsroom, owned and earned media, and signature or key meetings used to engage leaders, team members, and stakeholders. Maintains knowledge of existing and new/emerging channels.
- Partners with leaders responsible for signature meetings, executive forums, and systemwide gatherings to identify, curate, and shape stories for use in these settings, ensuring storytelling is purposeful, audience-focused, and aligned with enterprise narrative priorities.
- Curates, organizes, and manages enterprise story assets to support reuse and amplification across platforms, audiences, and live or in-person storytelling moments, reducing duplication and fragmentation while maximizing impact.
- Leads analysis of storytelling performance using qualitative and quantitative insights to inform strategy, optimize amplification, and continuously improve narrative effectiveness across channels and forums.
- Develops reporting and insights to demonstrate impact and guide decision-making.
- Facilitates cross-functional collaboration and provides training, coaching, and guidance to storytellers across the system, empowering teams to uphold organizational priorities, voice, and values while operating within established governance frameworks.
- Identifies new opportunities to expand the reach, effectiveness and performance of the organization’s external storytelling destination, AdventHealth News & Stories, and guides the digital content strategist’s execution of new initiatives.
- Closely collaborates with digital content strategist to drive web design enhancements, SEO improvements and content strategies for advancing AdventHealth News & Stories as a systemwide storytelling hub for reporters, consumers, policymakers, and other stakeholders.
- Manages projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines while navigating change with diplomacy and empathy.
- Travel up to 25%.

- Proven experience developing and maintaining editorial frameworks, governance models, and accountability processes that ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across storytelling channels and venues. [Required]
- Strong capability in shaping, advising on, and executing omnichannel storytelling, including social, owned, earned, video, graphic, and live or meeting-based storytelling, with experience curating and managing enterprise story assets for use across multiple platforms and audiences. [Required]
- Deep understanding of journalism principles and how newsrooms operate, with a sharp instinct for identifying stories with earned media potential and crafting compelling angles that resonate with reporters. [Required]
- Advanced technical understanding of digital content ecosystems, analytics, web experience design and content operations tools (e.g., web CMS platforms, editorial calendars, reporting dashboards), with proven success using performance insights to measure and optimize storytelling effectiveness. [Required]
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional collaboration and people leadership, including training, coaching, and empowering storytellers to uphold organizational priorities, voice, and values in a matrixed environment. [Required]
- Highly respected communicator with strong strategic thinking, integrity, and change leadership skills, able to build positive relationships through diplomacy and empathy while balancing creativity with governance and accountability in complex environments. [Required]
- Proven experience with social media content strategy and development that drives engagement and audience growth. [Required]
- Experience with systemwide change management, enterprise content governance tools, or content operations certification. [Required]
- Deep understanding of AdventHealth’s brand promise, faith-based mission, brand guidelines, editorial framework and strategic storytelling pillars (Care, Community, People, Perspectives). [Preferred}
- In-depth knowledge of AdventHealth’s many content channels, including goals, audiences and ideal content mix. [Preferred}
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree [Required]
Field of Study:
- in marketing, advertising, communications, public relations, journalism or related field
Work Experience:
- 3+ years of experience leading enterprise-wide content strategy, web content strategy, storytelling governance, or brand narrative systems within a large, mission-driven organization, with demonstrated ability to implement systemwide storytelling strategies aligned with organizational mission and values. [Required]
