The following list contains the core role and responsibilities for an instructor.

• →Provide medical training and education by delivering HSI and AHA courses.
• →Prepare for courses beforehand and finalize student certifications after teaching.
• →Create safe and fun learning environments for students of all abilities.
• →Maintain training materials and equipment.
• →Follow all Adventure Medics procedures and protocols.

Required:

• →Hold an active EMT (or higher) certification.
• →Current AHA BLS Provider (or higher) certification.
• →Experience teaching others.

Preferred:

• →Current AHA Instructor certification.
• →Wilderness Medicine Experience (Current WFR or WEMT).
• →Experience and enjoyment in teaching children.
