Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead and manage the capture process throughout the sales lifecycle; from opportunity identification to contract award.
- →Create win strategies to include customer engagement, solutions development, competitive assessments, shaping strategy, teaming strategy, pricing strategy, and bid/no-bid recommendations to senior management (based on a price to win and other competitive assessments)
- →Manage proposal development efforts, including scheduling, content development, and reviews, ensuring timely and compliant submission.
- →Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, government organizations, and industry partners to gain insights into their procurement strategies.
- →Ensure effective communication between capture team, subject matter experts, and leadership to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.
- →Track and report progress on capture efforts, providing regular updates to leadership.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Ability to Travel.
- Understanding of capture management best practices.
- Experience managing and writing proposals.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Experience leading capture efforts in support of Defense and Government Sales.
- Proven success in the execution of all phases of capture efforts, including deal strategy development, solution development, teaming strategy and development, proposals implementation and solution marketing.
- Extensive knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition processes, including a deep understanding of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as well as familiarity with a wide range of federal and defense-specific contracting vehicles, such as General Services Administration (GSA) Schedules, Multiple Award Contracts (MACs), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, Other Transaction Authorities (OTAs), and specific DoD vehicles like the SeaPort-e, and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) contracts.
- Knowledge in navigating various DoD funding sources, including Program Objective Memorandum (POM), Congressional adds, Rapid Innovation Fund (RIF), and Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs, to secure funding for research, development, and procurement programs.
Requirements
~1 min read- 5+ years of experience in capture management, business development or sales, preferably within the Government and Defense Industry.
- Previous Defense Prime Experience
- Ability to maintain effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Secret Security Clearance
