This role requires interfacing directly with end-users. The primary responsibilities of your role will be to:

  • →Act as the hands-on technical lead for a growing IT team in a 100% cloud-based organization.
  • →Perform major system migrations and consolidations internally and in coordination with external partners, including M365 and Google Workspace migrations.
  • →Closely support the front-line (L1/L2) support team, occasionally providing direct end-user support in times of coverage or when escalation is needed.
  • →Success in this role will provide immediate opportunities to grow and expand administrative and support responsibilities into two key areas:
  • →
    • →Our AdOps, Media, and Analytics platforms adjacent to core IT services.
    • →Our AI application stack (Claude Enterprise, ChatGPT Enterprise, etc.)
  • →Manage and administer day-to-day IT systems and cloud apps, including (examples in parentheses):
  • →
    • →M365, Google Workspace, and other common business and collaboration tools (Adobe, DocuSign, ClickUp, etc.)
    • →Identity management (Azure, Google Cloud Identity)
    • →Device management (MDM, RMM, e.g., Intune, Iru)
    • →Security toolset for email, endpoint, cloud, browser, and awareness training (Abnormal, Crowdstrike, Push, Adaptive)
    • →Cloud infrastructure such as email routing, domain names, and DNS (Cloudflare, GoDaddy)
    • →Core business applications (Hubspot, Salesforce, Netsuite), as needed.
    • →IT Service Management, ticketing platforms, asset management (Freshservice)
  • →Execute key IT and Cyber projects such as cloud tenant migrations, rebrands, and implementation of new cyber controls, using tools such as Movebot or AvePoint
  • →Closely support the Director, IT, and other leadership to:
  • →
    • →Develop and maintain IT service- delivery standards, processes, and SOP’s
    • →Build and maintain the IT Operations toolset for managing apps, devices, services, and tracking hardware and software assets (ITSM, MDM, etc.)
    • →Manage IT and division vendor contracts, ensuring licenses and subscriptions are right-sized, and spend is in line with usage and budget.
    • →Facilitate change management through effective planning, communication, and project/task management.
    • →Ensure a high level of service quality and efficiency is consistently delivered throughout the organization.
    • →Further establish the corporate IT platform as a scalable and agile function throughout the business.
    • →Manage a diverse set of partners and internal stakeholders including the MSP.
    • →Manage cyber risk and secure the organization by integrating effective cybersecurity controls into the delivery of IT services.
    • →Deliver various M&A and growth-related initiatives as needed.

  • Familiarity with an outsourced IT operating model and/or MSPs.
  • An awareness of IT and cyber risk tolerances and how these align with and are supportive of broader business objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership aspirations.
  • High level of personal integrity and ethics, and ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.
  • A strong ability and willingness to adapt to and facilitate change with the organization.

Currently, this role does not have any direct reports, but it will have the opportunity to influence and help determine a future staffing and operating model for IT – this is expected to include supporting the Director, IT in building out an internal team in line with Agital’s growth strategy. Within the team, this role has the greatest potential to line manage additional technical roles as they are added.

  • BS/BA in IT, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years previous work experience in IT administration or end-user support.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace including hands-on configuration and administration of these platforms.
    • This must include the use of either Microsoft 365 PowerShell Modules or GAM.
  • Extensive experience managing or supporting cloud/SaaS apps for employee productivity, collaboration, and work management (examples Adobe, Atlassian tools, Clickup, Monday.com, Slack, Zoom).
  • Detailed understanding and experience implementing technical controls for hardware, cloud services, email, and identity management services (examples Azure/Entra ID, SSO, SCIM, Google Identity, SSO, SCIM) 
  • Working knowledge of IT service management concepts and frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity detective and preventative controls for information and data protection.
  • Conceptual knowledge of privacy and compliance rules and regulations.
  • Certifications including Microsoft, Azure, Google, ITIL, CompTIA preferred.
