ResearcherRecruitment & Talent Acquisition

Air Liquide Laboratories is one of the main R&D centers of the Air Liquide group. Its goal is to develop new and innovative solutions for the entire Air Liquide group. Air Liquide Laboratories is located at Innovation Campus Tokyo, inaugurated in March 2019. The new facility promotes collaboration with customers, start-up companies and academic partners. It gathers researchers and workers from all around the world in order to promote a multicultural work environment and skills diversity. The Campus develops the latest thin film deposition and etching technologies for applications in electronics, batteries and fuel cells, as well as strategies and solutions for the entire supply chain, production, purification, storage, transportation and distribution of low carbon hydrogen.

Within the framework of the R&D strategy and roadmap, support or perform research projects in labs, whatever the research subject, in order to develop technologies and innovations for our internal and external clients. Lab could be considered as internal Lab or external partnerships (eg. universities, start-ups)

We are seeking a thin film dry etching researcher with extensive experience in plasma etching (CCP/ICP/RIE), and the evaluation of processed thin-film samples. Expertise in etching gases and their analysis, thin-film etching methodologies, and thin-film characterization is highly desirable. The researcher will collaborate within international teams, working not only with etching engineers in Japan but also with colleagues in the U.S. to develop novel and promising etching precursors. In the future, the candidate is expected to manage the project.
