Designation: Head – Skill Development Location: Gurgaon About Us: AKMV Consultants is a boutique financial service provider and an investment banking firm founded in the year 2018. It offers full range of services such as HR Advisory, Warehousing solutions, Mergers and Acquisitions, corporate finance, fund raising, debt restructuring, strategy, implementation, and strategic advisory services. AKMV follows integrated advisory approach that draws upon its own strength in providing strategic and tactical expertise. About the role: We are in the process of establishing a Skill Development & Training Center in Bihar with the objective of contributing to local employment generation and youth upskilling, aligned with government initiatives such as Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) and other state/central skill development programs. We are looking for a disciplined, mission-driven professional, preferably a retired Armed Forces officer, to lead and operationalize this initiative on the ground. Role Overview: The selected candidate will be responsible for setting up and managing the skill center, coordinating with government bodies, local administration, training partners, and ensuring smooth execution of programs. Key Responsibilities • Establish and operationalize the Skill Development Center in Bihar and Rajasthan • Liaise with relevant government departments and skill development authorities • Oversee center administration, infrastructure readiness, and compliance • Build and manage relationships with local stakeholders and training partners • Ensure effective implementation of PMKVY and other skill initiatives • Maintain discipline, reporting structure, and operational efficiency at the center Preferred Profile • Retired Army officer (preferred) • Strong administrative and leadership experience • Exposure to government liaisoning or institutional setup will be an advantage • High integrity, structured approach, and ability to work independently on ground • Willingness to travel to Bihar and Rajasthan
