Estimator Joinery / Fitout

The Estimator – Interior Fit-Out is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and commercial proposals for interior fit-out and turnkey projects. The role involves reviewing tender documents, conducting quantity take-offs, obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations, analysing project costs, and supporting the pre-contract team to secure profitable projects while ensuring compliance with project specifications and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract requirements. Perform detailed quantity take-offs for architectural, interior fit-out, joinery, finishing, and MEP works. Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender pricing for commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and office fit-out projects. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost breakdowns based on project scope. Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, evaluate commercial offers, and negotiate pricing. Analyse project risks, exclusions, assumptions, and recommend value engineering solutions. Coordinate with design, procurement, technical, and project teams during the tender stage. Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and tender clarification meetings. Prepare tender submissions, commercial proposals, bid documents, and supporting schedules. Maintain and update cost databases, supplier pricing, and historical project cost records. Assist in preparing project budgets and feasibility studies. Support contract negotiations and provide post-tender clarifications. Ensure all estimates comply with project specifications, company procedures, and client requirements. Participate in project handover meetings with the operations team after project award. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline. Minimum 4–7 years of experience in estimating interior fit-out projects within the UAE/GCC. Experience in turnkey interior fit-out, joinery, and refurbishment projects is preferred. Strong knowledge of interior fit-out construction methods, materials, and finishes. Expertise in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and shop drawings. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office applications. Benefits As per industry norms
