This position involves the installation of conduits and wiring of devices and controllers for Building Automation Systems. The installer must be capable of reading and interpreting MEP plans & specifications, and capable of reading and interpreting BAS Submittal Drawings. We do require applicants to possess a valid driver’s license, and they must qualify to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively work in a safe and efficient manner in the context of performing the functions of your position.
  • Ensure that customer satisfaction is always 100%.
  • Interact professionally with customers and contractors as required.
  • Coordinate and communicate with project managers and team leads to meet the needs of all project requirements.
  • Assist teammates as needed.
  • Installation of control wiring, control components, EMT conduit, reading and understanding electrical diagrams, working from ladders.
  • Reading MEP plans and other Construction documents.
  • Provide status reports of work related to any project involvement.
  • Troubleshooting abilities.
  • Possesses or is willing to obtain OSHA Safety Certificate.
  • GED or High school diploma with at least three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and must qualify to operate a company vehicle.
  • Must possess documented experience/training on various systems and controls.
  • Ability to work overtime, varied shift hours and occasional travel as needed.
  • Effectively able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Strong computer skills are necessary for Level 3.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, contractors, supervisors, and fellow team members.
  • Work independently and as a team member.
  • Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs., bend, climb, kneel, twist, stand and climb stairs and ladders.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects and prioritize based on departmental functions
  • 40-hour work week
