This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly. The Associate, Warehouse & Distribution Management (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for supporting efficient warehouse and distribution center operations by optimizing storage, managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining records.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Perform business support or clerical tasks to contribute to efficient warehouse and distribution operations
- Assist in optimizing storage space and material flows for safety and efficiency
- Manage inventory and coordinate shipments while maintaining accurate records
- Follow established procedures with limited decision-making authority
- Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training
- Meet individual job requirements and contribute to the overall compliance of the organization
- Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- 3 Years of Relevant Experience
- Location: Onsite-Johns Creek, Georgia
- Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday
- Travel Requirements: N/A

Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with SAP, WMS, TMS or ERP systems
- Familiarity with Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, SQL or Python
- Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
