Lead the overall architecture design and technical implementation of the cockpit AI multimodal interaction system, integrate core interaction modalities including voice, vision and gesture recognition, and drive the upgrade of next-generation AI cockpit interaction experiences.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Lead the overall architecture design of the cockpit AI multimodal interaction system, covering the hierarchical design of the multimodal perception fusion layer, AI decision engine layer, and interaction execution layer, and deliver architecture design documents (SAD), interface specifications, and technical solution white papers.
- Be responsible for the core technology selection of multimodal interaction, including the evaluation and adaptation of AI algorithm engines such as Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Computer Vision (CV), gesture recognition, and emotion recognition, and formulate automotive-grade technical implementation roadmaps.
- Design the multimodal data fusion architecture to realize real-time collaboration and intelligent decision-making of voice, vision, tactile, and vehicle status data, and resolve core technical issues such as modality conflict and interaction priority determination.
- Track cutting-edge technologies in cockpit AI and multimodal interaction (e.g., on-vehicle large model adaptation, emotional interaction, cross-modal context understanding, and edge-cloud collaborative interaction), formulate technology evolution roadmaps, and drive the implementation of next-generation cockpit AI interaction architectures.
- Be responsible for the design and development of multimodal interaction middleware, provide standardized AI interaction interfaces (e.g., voice wake-up, visual command, and gesture control interfaces), and support the multimodal interaction integration of upper-layer cockpit applications (navigation, entertainment, and vehicle control).
- Work closely with the design team, product requirements team, System team to deliver technical solutions and support, and develop design and technical documentation.
- Liaise with external vendors to confirm technical implementation plans and set up testing or demonstration environments.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication between internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for the architecture design and development of AI multimodal interaction system, providing targeted, high-performance technical solutions to support the product and design teams in achieving optimal interactive experiences.
- On-Time Delivery: Percentage of milestones achieved on schedule.
- Product Quality: Number of issues identified post-release vs. during development.
- Stakeholder Feedback: Feedback from internal and external partners on communication and project alignment.
